I think what really killed the subreddit, is the rules mods put in place.
Even when the sub was quarantined it was highly active, but power hungry mods really ruined it for me and everyone else, by setting high standards for posts and comments.
Writing a post or commenting now on TRP takes more effort than what it is worth, or otherwise it is "not adding anything to the discussion".
Once a place of comfort is now barren and desolate. You can thank Vermillion for that.
We strive to keep the discussion on the subreddit high-caliber and avoid a lot of noise. Are we perfect? No. It's a hard line to walk. Verm was hand picked by me and I have faith in his skillset. If we've made a mistake though let me know, send me a message I'm always open to constructive criticism.
But really, this pales in comparison when you realize we can no longer reach the home page. Most of our biggest threads were big because we got attention on the home page.
You should know we don't have the same rules on www.trp.red and the guys like to shoot the shit. If you're looking for a place of comfort, it's a good group of guys.
Moderation and censorship are two different things. If you want to talk about puppies and post cat pictures, they'll be removed as well. They're off topic.
We have always had a large influx of trolls trying to argue and JAQ-off in the comments. Of course we're going to get rid of it.
What reddit admin do, on the other hand, is tell us the topic of the red pill itself is wrong and must be hidden. There are entire topics that reddit has removed that are plenty on-topic for the red pill.
Its not like I have any love for the reddit admin team, they've pretty much let the site be devoured by bots. But janny's are on another level of ban volume, if you were to do the math. And they're not even getting paid, which is hilarious.
I don't remember exactly the nature of what I said to get banned from there, but it defo wasn't for sharing cat memes. But I do recall disagreeing with a mod about something ;).

Either way, I appreciate the feedback. Thanks!
Having a pic of schopenhauer the gamma on redpill sub stack is crazy hahah
Its ironic to blame reddit admins for censorship when r/theredpill mods will ban anything other than a parrot.
